Cold Season

Illness arrives with its own agenda.

Who you are, and what you've planned will be altered by the force, which is sickness.

You respond to this thing that has invaded your reality.

In retreat, you turn inward. Protecting the self from excess harm.

Sensing vulnerability you return to your aloneness.

As adults, this self-care may seem foreign, even unnatural.

Hopefully, your maturity wins out.

Awareness of what must be done, and what cannot be accomplished.

Then, one morning, you awake. Your desires have returned.

Hunger. Fresh air. Movement. Conversation. Responsibilities.

Returning to normal, a flood of positivity and possibility enters your consciousness.

It is at this moment you must show gratitude to the self.

A small battle was won against a force that had no intention of fighting fair.

You prevailed.

Now, enter back into the contracts of your life with attention to the minutia of each experience.

In each moment the opportunity presents, for you to return to the awareness that accompanies your life.

Coaching is Community

Note: The life experience is a collective. It is not about you more than it is about anyone else. What you live is a collective...
